Do you know what it is like to be a tree? When a clever little girl who wants to stay outside all day, tricks her Dad into pretending to be a tree, her Dad discovers a day in the life of a tree.

Plot: While her Dad does yard work, Madeleine stands with her arms out. Her Dad asks her, "what are you doing?" Madeleine answers she is pretending to be a tree. Her Dad then asks her why she is pretending to be a tree and Madeleine explains because trees get to stay outside all day. Madeleine convinces her Dad to pretend to be a tree with her which he does. Together they spend the day, discovering a day in the life of a tree.
