Perspective: Implied third person. There are no personal pronouns used in the text.
Style: Narrative descriptive observation that uses just nouns, verbs, and adjectives. For example, "Five matching houses."
Plot: The boy waits for the bus. The boy gets on the bus and rides for a long distance before reaching the next stop. The bus finishes its route and arrives at school. The students spill out of the bus and into school. At the end of the day, the boy looks out the window and wonders what he will see on the ride home.
Setting: Rural, farmland, town, school.
